Shaheen Shah Afridi
The first one is that it is obvious that Lahore Qalandars will stick with their existing Platinum category captain Shaheen Shah Afridi who has guided them to two PSL titles. Last season however, Shaheen broke the hearts of Lahore fans.

Rashid Khan or Anrich Nortje
Rashid Khan will probably be off to the IPL at No. 7. I am sure Rashid will go for money to the IPL, we saw what happened last year when he was fit for IPL but said he is injured for PSL. Lahore Qalandars must be wise enough to think of keeping someone like Anrich Nortje in place of Rashid.
Tahir Baig or Imran Khan Jr
Opener Tahir Baig or left-arm pacer Imran Khan Jr is the final player to be retained. And the team likely will pick one of them. Fakhar Zaman will be selected via the Super Card.
